Galaxy WatchIf you have a Pixel or any phone that you plan to upgrade to Android 16 and you also use Galaxy watch (from Watch 3 onward) you might find a serious issue.
If you try to reset the watch and pair it to your phone, it will NOT login to your Samsung account inside your watch. It will login inside the Wearable app, but again - not inside the watch.
This issue will cause:
1. Your phone will keep nagging you to sign to samsung and as soon as you'll press "continute" the browser session will disappear but it won't login with your Samsung account inside the watch.
2. You cannot download/replace any watch face. At best you can customize the default one, but nothing else.
3. It won't record your health to any external app on your phone (Samsung Health. Google fit might work, didn't test yet)
What you CAN do until Samsung will fix this issue:
1. You can install/remove apps - through the Google Play store
2. You can use the NFC to connect to devices and pay (if you added cards)
The issue started since 16 beta (QPR) but hasn't been fixed yet, so if you think about jumping to Android 16 or stay in 15 - Stay in 15 for now.

Galaxy WatchActually, there are few
* Xiaomi (HyperOS 2.3)
* OnePlus - OxygenOS 16 (within few months officially, beta is available as private - has the same bug it seems)
* Honor 200 series (beta in private)
And the list goes on...

Galaxy WatchHello, dorinxev. Welcome to the Community, and thank you for reaching out. We understand the concern with the watches not working with Android 16.
As @Oxford pointed out, Android 16 is available on a very limited number of phones publicly. It is being tested in Beta by most companies. As it is still in testing many apps and devices are not compatible. When it becomes more available publicly Samsung and the other companies can make the apps and accessory devices, such as watches, compatible with the software.
Since the Android 16 software is in testing, it is NOT supported in this community. We recommend contacting Google and/or a Beta moderator regarding the software.
