YouTube buffering on the app

Anyone else getting buffering before and during regular videos and live streams? It's been happening for a couple of weeks, a video will buffer for a couple of seconds before it starts. I'm getting 350 down and 60 up on my 5guw connection. Sometimes during live streams it will buffer every 10 seconds. Audio and video settings are set to automatic playback quality.

Does it do that on any video or livestream platform (like YouTube), or is it just the one?

Just YouTube. Videos from reddit never buffer and instantly play. YouTube has been giving me a 1 or 2 second buffer before playing, it never used to do that.

Clear out its storage info.

Settings/Apps then scroll down to YouTube & open that, then storage *clear both the cache & data. See how that works.
