Wireless Emergency Alerts History

I restored from an older Samsung cloud backup made on the same device. When backup was restored, I checked the wireless emergency alert history and its been erased. Is it not included in a backup?

They don't get transfered over that I'm aware of. My emergency alert history hasn't ever transfered over.

I don't believe emergency alerts are included in the Samsung cloud backup.

I've asked samsung support multiple times about it some say it deletes it others say it dont

You asked this same question back in July. The answer hasn't changed since then. Those alerts are gone.

Emergency alerts on your phone are sent by authorized government agencies through your mobile carrier as part of the Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) system. So, they are usually not part of cloud backups.

It should be part of backups. I swear I was able to restore from an older backup made on same phone and the wireless Emergency alert history wasn't erased

I don't see any reason why that information would be backed up. I. Any case, I believe the alet history is kept, even locally, for as long as rhe slert is still avtive. Is there any reason you would need the entire alert history?
