Using the native Samsung app in 'Pro Video' mode on S25 Ultra, if you lock white balance it suddenly changes and adds an ugly magenta shift to the image that is near impossible to color correct for in post.
As soon as you exit manual white balance and revert to auto white balance it can achieve a more natural look image.
Can you please fix the white balance issues? Currently this is anything but 'pro video' when you're unable to lock white balance without it ruining the image in Samsung Log.
It's very difficult to edit long videos, such as those shot at a concert or a children's performance. The image barely changes, but then it takes hours to even out the color.
Indeed. It is important to realise that Samsung doesn't actually care about delivering a quality photo/video experience - which is why they have not fixed a fundamental issue with their software for many years now.
Photography and video is just a marketing bullet point to them, which has now been eclipsed by useless 'AI' feature. The S26 Ultra should get APV support — but if you can't lock white balance, who cares? Samsung don't. They will hammer APV as a 'pro' feature and move on.
