Galaxy S25

Samsung Galaxy devices offer several gesture-based features that can be used on the lock screen. These include "Lift to wake," which turns on the screen when you pick up the phone, and "Double tap to turn on screen," which does the same when you double-tap the screen. Additionally, you can use "Double tap to turn off screen" on an empty space on the lock screen. Muting calls and alarms can also be achieved with a hand gesture, like placing your hand over the screen.
Here's a breakdown of the lock screen gestures:
Lift to wake: When enabled, picking up your phone will automatically turn on the screen.
Double tap to turn on screen: Double-tapping the screen will wake it up.
Double tap to turn off screen: On the lock screen, double-tapping an empty space will turn the screen off.
Mute with gestures: Placing your hand over the screen will mute incoming calls and alarms.
These features can be found and enabled within the "Motions and gestures" settings, accessible through the "Advanced features" section in your phone's settings. You may also need to enable the "Enable extra gesture settings" option within Good Lock's NavStar app for some swipe-based navigation gestures.
