Galaxy S25Hello Samsung / fellow Samsung Fans,
I've been a Samsung Galaxy user now for over 10 years!
I switched from an S21 5G to an S25 Ultra yesterday.
I have screen captures that I've taken which give me the option to "go to website" on my S21 5G. When I copy the file over to my S25 Ultra, I am unable to see that option. The screen capture is now only useful for the photo, and the option to "go to website" is gone.
This is important for items I want to buy, or locations of businesses that I'd like to visit if they have differing hours of business etc.
Please help me out with this.
I look forward to any potentially helpful responses. So what I'm trying to do is make the screen capture "live" again with this useful functionality.
Kind regards,
summit92

Galaxy S25Sorry, I don't know how to do that. I can follow a process to do it...
My friend in IT says that the file has metadata, that is not copied over when the file is transferred between devices. So if the metadata is preserved, the file should remain intact.
I appreciate your response. If you want to follow up, please do.

Galaxy S25Most people bookmark a page that the frequent. This has the added benefit of not having to go to a different app, bring up the picture, and then clicking on the item to then open the browser and go to the page.
I have never heard of a screenshot giving the ability to send you to a webpage, not saying it did not work, just never heard of it before, LOL

Galaxy S25You can see up top, it says: "Go to website" When I click on it, it takes me to the exact webpage I took a screen capture of. It could be an article I wanted to read later, something I want to purchase soon, etc. Anything important that I want to access on the web at a later date.
This is far more useful than bookmarks. Sorting through bookmarks, clicking them, opening new tabs and then finding your bookmarks etc. can get really annoying. It's actually counterproductive compared to "Go to website"
I don't need this feature on Aliexpress or Amazon, but for certain websites that don't have an app, "Go to website" is a gamechanger.
My "Go to website" screen captures can be categorized based on item type in a folder, then I can easily search for the folder in gallery, click on go to webpage, buy the item I want, and then delete the screen captures accordingly.
Does it work for you on your Samsung?! smartphone?
