Galaxy S25I have been chasing this for hours. My S25 Ultra has been acting very wonky the last few weeks. Settings are changing without me changing them. Just a few examples are the keyboard disappeared and captions were the only things showing. I got it to restore by just rebooting. Then albums in my Gallery were in a different order.
But now, it is my ability to turn the phone to vibrate so that it doesn't ring out loud while I am in meetings. The rocker arm buttons used to have volume control (which still works), but as you depress the "down" button, it would go to "VIBRATE" and the last one was "SILENT" (which is displayed as a music symbol with a slash across it. The vibrate mode has disappeared and I cannot get it back, no matter what settings I tinker with. I did not change any notification settings or app settings, yet this is stubborningly not restoring to vibrate mode as an option when using the rocker buttons.
I have been wasting a few hours trying to find a similar issue without any success. There are a lot of fixes out there, but nothing that seems to be the same I am having.
I hope someone has a simple fix other than a complete reset. Thank you!!

Galaxy S25I found the issue. Let me say thank you for your input. As it turns out, my freind stopped by my desk and he has a S24 Ultra and his settings for vibrate appeared to be there and working. Although I had attempted this before rebooting I rebooted once again and copied his settings from his S24.
The 3 dots at the top of the rocker buttons for volume allowed me to get into tge settings for VOLUME, MEDIA, NOTIFICATIONS & SYSTEM. But the bottom of that page had another button titled "USE VOLUME BUTTONS FOR MEDIA". My settings showed mine as "ON" and his S24 was "OFF". I copied by deselecting my switch and waaalaaaa.....Fixed!!!
I figured this would be something real simple. But, more interesting is that I had not changed any settings on that screen or to my volume or media settings. Again, this goes to the fact that some of my settings are being randomly changed without touching them.
Gremlins inside my S25 Ultra?????
Thanks again.

Galaxy S251) Turn off your device.
[Your device may need to be connected to a powered USB device (ex: computer) before proceeding to the next step.]
2) Press and hold the Volume Up button and the Side/Power button until you feel a vibration and the Samsung logo appears. Let go of the buttons.
3) You will now be in Android recovery. Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Wipe cache partition."
4) Press the Side/Power button to execute.
5) Use the Volume buttons to highlight "Yes."
6) Press the Side/Power button to execute.
7) "Reboot system now" will already be highlighted. Press the Side/Power button to execute.
