Unable to disable write to text

I'm using the Samsung Keyboard, not Gboard.

I've disabled "Write to Text" in:

1. S Pen settings
2. Samsung Keyboard settings
3. Developer options

However, in some apps (e.g., ChatGPT), when I hover the S Pen over a text box, it still switches to handwriting mode.

I've tested this on three different Samsung devices, and the issue persists.

Is there a solution?

Go to the keyboard settings and turn this off.

I have no issue with it just by turning that one off and leaving the rest on. Did you by chance used a backup or a clean device?

What about not using pen at all?
