Today I learned I cannot trust Samsung and that they are liars.
I traded in a S24 Ultra. The only issue was a crack on the BACK glass, other than that the phone is less than a year old, factory reset and literally not any other scratches.
I literally checked off 'cracked glass' questions and according to Samsung, it still qualifies and allowed me to continue with the trade it. The amount offered is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than if the handset didn't have any cracks.
Trade in rejected and they gave me NO reason. At all. I love how they have 2 photos that show how PERFECT the phone is, with no explanation. Like who is the person who is doing this job day in and day out who thinks those photos say anything?
Trade in rejected AFTER the return window for the S25 passed.
Because Samsung lied to me about my trade-in, I no longer trust Samsung. At this point I have to sell everything 3rd party since Sammie rejected my Trade-ins and Returns.
Ok. Let's start here, Samsung is not who rejected it. It is their inspection service that made the call. Contact their customer service dept. and request they look into your trade. Be ready to provide pictures of your device. Sometimes, they can correct a rejected device issue.
I never trade-in my recent/previous phone anymore. I might trade in a very old phone like an S10e if they'll give me a few hundred bucks, not 50 bucks.
