Iā€™ve been a long-time user and advocate of Samsungā€™s ecosystem, and one feature I rely on heavily is the voice-to-text functionality within the Samsung Keyboard. However, after a recent update (or for some unknown reason), Iā€™ve noticed a significant drop in accuracy on my Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The Issues Iā€™m Facing:

1. Frequent Incorrect Word Recognition ā€“ Words that were once accurately transcribed are now consistently wrong.

2. Auto-Correction Gone Wrong ā€“ Iā€™ve observed that sometimes the correct word initially appears, only for it to be automatically changed to the wrong one. This makes the experience frustrating and forces me to manually fix errors, defeating the purpose of voice input.

3. A Noticeable Performance Decline ā€“ Compared to previous versions, voice recognition seems slower and less intelligent in adapting to context.

Why This Matters:

Many users rely on voice-to-text for efficiency, accessibility, and hands-free usage. A degradation in this feature severely impacts productivity, especially for those who use their phone for work, messaging, and multitasking.

Call to Action:

I urge Samsung engineers and the development team to investigate and prioritize a fix for this issue. If others are experiencing the same problem, please comment, share, or report this to help get Samsungā€™s attention!

Samsung, please address this ASAPā€”this feature is essential to many of your users.

Switch your TTS engine to Google Voice.  It's more accurate. Settings/general management/keyboard list and default - slide on Google Voice Typing.

I agree, it's more accurate, but it doesn't add any punctuation šŸ˜ž

That's odd. It does for me. I don't use TTS very often but I think I speak the punctuation. Google TTS actually puts the punctuation mark you speak, unlike Samsung, which writes it out.
