Samsung tap to transfer feature no longer works?

What happened to Samsung pays tap the transfer feature. It worked for like 2 weeks that all of a sudden it doesn't have the option anymore for transferring to another NFC device, phone or card.

I don't/won't use it, but the option is still in my Samsung Pay app. It's under "Finance" "send money".  Having not used it, I'm not sure if you have to go there every time, or that is where you just set it up.

It's not an option for me either. And even with a debit card added, going to "send money" under Finance just asks me to add another debit card

Yeah it worked for a few weeks then all the sudden stopped

Bumping this up as I am facing the same issue.  When I raised the issue with Samsung support, they claim it was a bank issue, so bumping this in the hope Samsung pays attention to it.

You are not going to get an answer here, you have to contact the Samsung Pay team or send feedback through the feedback link in the support tab of the members app.

I tried, but they told me it was a problem with my bank.  Perhaps if more people respond in the thread indicating the same problem, when I raise the case with them again they will take it more seriously

No, actually more people have to put in error reports if they are having this issue since the people who can fix it don't act on the basis of forum posts. It could very well be a bank issue, as not all banks may be on board with the feature. Check with your bank.

So multiple people here, presumably with different banks, all say that they had the option available for a while, and then it suddenly disappeared for everyone right around the same time, is a bank issue rather than a Samsung issue?
