Dear Samsung, we buy Samsung phones because we want to experience everything from Samsung, like Samsung Messages. We don't want apps from other companies. You're losing users. It's like asking us to buy a Google Pixel phone by putting the Google Messages app as the default. Please improve the Samsung Messages app because we prefer using it simply because it's made by Samsung.

I know, and I downloaded it. But I know Samsung will get rid of it soon because there have been no improvements for a long time.

Actually the version you downloaded from the Store onto your S25 is an updated version and also Samsung Messages just released a newer version (only available in Korea at the moment) that brings Edit/Delete messages features

I read a post not long ago which said that Samsung may be considering keeping the Samsung Messages app and using Google's RCS with it.
I have not seen any official confirmation of this though.

I do hope Samsung keeps the Samsung Messages app. I do not want to and will not use Google Messages. Among other things, it has one of the ugliest, most unwieldy interfaces I have ever seen. If Samsung discontinues their Messages app, I would just switch to another app entirely
