Where'd the contacts option go for syncing to Samsung account?

Samsung Account Sync Settings

Access Account Settings: Go to Settings, tap your Samsung account name at the top, then Samsung Cloud.

Check App Sync: Tap an app (like Contacts, Notes, Calendar) and ensure its sync switch is on.

Sync Method: For specific apps (like Samsung Notes), tap "Sync using" and select Wi-Fi or mobile data for constant syncing, say Samsung Support, Samsung Support. 

App-Specific Solutions (If Needed)

Samsung Health: Update the app via the Galaxy Store, or try uninstalling/reinstalling it on your phone as a fix for syncing issues, say Samsung Support, Reddit users.

Samsung Wallet (Pass): Check sync options within the Samsung Wallet app. 

Advanced Troubleshooting

Clear Cloud Data: For persistent issues, clear Samsung Cloud's data and try syncing again, but be sure you're sign

Tap on your Samsung account, tap on Samsung cloud, select your apps to sync. If you don't see the contacts option there, try going to the contacts settings, scroll to sync contacts accounts and slide on which accounts to sync.

I am logged into my account on S25 the contacts app won't show my Samsung account for some strange reason but shows my google account.

As long as they are synced to Google, you'll be fine. It's better in Google anyway, that way you can view them on any device anywhere and more easily import them should you leave the Samsung universe.
