How hard is it to tap the notification bubble to separate and read the individual notifications? At least there's a number telling you how many there are, so you know there are multiples. Why do you want the notification area all cluttered up if you get a lot of notifications? It seems to me that it's harder to read a list of mixed notifications than to have notifications separated by app. If you want everything listed individually, try Good Lock's Notistar module.
Right now, still running OneUI 6.1, notifications are usually stacked, there is a little number next to an expansion arrow to separate the notifications. As far as I know, notifications for each app have always been grouped. The only difference I can see here is there is only a single number rather than an accompanying single line within the bubble of who each notification is from. C'mon, people it's an extra tap (you have to tap anyway to separate them in the old incarnation). You have to swipe for your notifications anyway. And now that y'all know the number is there and what it's for, you can't really be complaining about missing important notifications because you can't tell who the notification is from at a glance.
