Galaxy S25I agree that this is absolutely horrible, and I have gotten in trouble for missing so many important messages/emails/reminders/tasks that it's just too much of a liability for me to keep using this device - and that's coming from someone who has had every Samsung flagship device since the OG Note.

Galaxy S25Same here. Was forced into the OneUI7 update last night. Was up until 2am getting everything back to usable condition with good lock. Thought I had everything accounted for and then slept for a few hours before work.
I'm on call this week. Work at a hospital in Clinical IT. I have missed ticket texts from this as I'd only act on the ticket number in the preview of the latest text then pull it up in the system and swipe the notification away. I didn't know there were other texts hiding below.
I have ADHD and everything I do is a google task reminder, most of them being auto-recurring, at least 10 a day. They did the same. I missed taking a med, forgot to schedule a meeting for my executive director. On top of that I have to expand the group, then each task individually to mark it as complete or reschedule it. I have a very good chance of getting fired for all the things I missed. By company service level breach policy I know I will be written up at the very least.
What folding android phone with e-sim capability still lets you do this, if any random person reads this, and I still have a job to be able to buy it.

Galaxy S25This is a horrible issue, I've missed so many texts already. Since it's not popping up is a notification on my phone, it's not coming to my watch either. There's no way I can go through my hundreds of contacts and fix this problem individually.

Galaxy S25How hard is it to tap the notification bubble to separate and read the individual notifications? At least there's a number telling you how many there are, so you know there are multiples. Why do you want the notification area all cluttered up if you get a lot of notifications? It seems to me that it's harder to read a list of mixed notifications than to have notifications separated by app. If you want everything listed individually, try Good Lock's Notistar module.
Right now, still running OneUI 6.1, notifications are usually stacked, there is a little number next to an expansion arrow to separate the notifications. As far as I know, notifications for each app have always been grouped. The only difference I can see here is there is only a single number rather than an accompanying single line within the bubble of who each notification is from. C'mon, people it's an extra tap (you have to tap anyway to separate them in the old incarnation). You have to swipe for your notifications anyway. And now that y'all know the number is there and what it's for, you can't really be complaining about missing important notifications because you can't tell who the notification is from at a glance.

Galaxy S25PLEASE FIX THIS. This is such a deal breaker. Grouped notifications causes me to do an extra click to see all my notifications. Why add the extra step? Just add a feature flag for this so users can choose if they want it or not.
