Hello all,

I'm a pretty tech saavy dude and I am at my wits end with trying to get my new S25 Ultra connected to my car. For reference, I had no issues connecting my Galaxy S21+ to the same car.

Here is my issue: As far as I can tell, the crux of the issue is that when I initiate the connection from my car to my phone- it sends a car-generated PIN to the phone, but the phone never displays any kind of confirmation or dialog box that allows me to enter or confirm the car-generated PIN. When I initiate the connection from the phone, it goes through the connection process most of the way but then asks me for a PIN at the end. Nothing on the phone indicates what PIN I should use. I have tried "0000", "1111", "1234", "123456", "000000", and my phone's unlock PIN. None of them have been successful.

I cleared out ALL of the existing Bluetooth connections on my car. Reset the WiFi and Bluetooth setting on my phone under the "General Management", rebooted the phone and restarted the car many times.

Any fresh prospective would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

TLDR - Phone and car will start the connection in either direction and show some response, but in both processes- it ends with a PIN mismatch.

So I finally got it figured out.

1) I had to initiate the connection from the phone to the car.

2) The car requests a PIN.

3) Wait about 30 seconds and then my phone finally gave me the prompt to enter a PIN to use.

4) Enter that PIN on the car.

The issues is that it was was taking so long for my phone to prompt for the PIN that the car would often timeout before then. But finally one time, the phone prompted me quickly enough that I was able to compete the process.

Does your vehicle bluetooth connection have an option to update the vehicles "infotainment system" ?

Same question for the phones software. Is it up to date ?

I don't believe there is a way to check if just the Bluetooth software is up-to-date (correct me if I'm wrong), but the system software is up-to-date. In terms of my car, I am pretty sure there is no way to update the system software there (it's a 2014), but I'll double-check. Again, Bluetooth was working flawlessly on my S21+ (and still is).
