Galaxy S25
It seems that at times, with no regularity, when I press the Home button, the phone's screen goes dark. When I press the side button or double tap the screen, the date and time appear without the fingerprint icon (which I expect since I have Extend Unlock and Trusted Places activated/configured). When I swipe to see the Home screen, I get the PIN page with the message "Enter your PIN, as required by the security policy, instead of using your fingerprints".
I'm perplexed and it's annoying.
Is anyone else having this experience?
Any thoughts?

try and disable the Extend Unlock or see if you can change a certain setting

Same issue for me since I got S25u at the end of January.
Still continues to occur after every update (running May 2025 now). Really annoying to have to enter PIN 5+ times per day (whether I am at home or elsewhere).
