Protected battery charging again when battery drops?

If I set my phone to charge up to 90-95% each time and plug it in overnight, what happens when it reaches 95%? Will it stop charging completely, or will it start charging again when the battery drops to 94%?

The set up does not allow for charging range like 90-95%. There are three settings, basic, adaptive and maximum. The battery protections settings are pretty clear on what it does...

Ok,perhaps I'm not informed on all of those specific functions for battery charging. I am asking this earnestly, where is there a setting that allows customizable range for charging outside of the example I gave?

Dont know which phone you have, but on the new one UI 7, when you press on Maximum option, you can customize it (80 to 95 range)

OK, I never use those settings, but I turned it on to get what you are seeing. Then going back to your original question, I would say yes, whatever percentage you set will stop charging at that point. If going by the three standard settings, one says in specific term that it will stop as noted on the screenshot I provided. I would think it would logically follow that it would do the same customizing one's own setup.  In the end, I guess using your setting overnight to then see the result would be the answer.

Also, thnx for the info on the customizable part, I learned something today.

It just stops charging at the threshold you have set.

Thats not what I asked.
It stops charging, but if it is stopping, and the battery drop 1%, does it will charge again this 1% and stop, an endless loop?

That is only on adaptive. When you set it to a specific level it like the same thing as 100%.
It says it right there stops charging at 90% and holds there.
