Galaxy S25

I just received my  new Galaxy S25 Ultra, but when I have the bluetooth turned on in my 2018 Honda Accord, it still rings on my phone.  However, it does show up on the car display, but I don't want it ringing on my phone as well.

I spoke to a Samsung CS rep today that said it's an issue and we have to wait until an update comes out, but he couldn't tell me when and then he promptly hung up on me.  Not sure why?

Go to the settings / find the app Android auto and clear the cache and the data.

You must clear the data. I think it's corrupted from old phone transfer

That did it! THANKS! (After clearing the cache, I also deleted and re-added Android Auto, just in case 😁.)

I spent hours and hours trying to get my new phone work, and your advice fixed it in three minutes.

Thanks,

Sam

I had that problem and i uninstalled it then reinstalled, restarted phone and began the process over from my car. I made sure I was sitting in park. It works now!

What did you uninstall? On my s25 ultra is not actually an app.

First go to settings, then search android auto in your apps from settings. Scroll down to "app details in store" and uninstall, then reinstall. It does come integrated with our phones, but this is where you can update or reinstall it. I did also delete previous phone connections from my car's history like another user suggested but still had to do this to get it to work1739837431575.jpg1739837431581.jpg1739837431593.jpg
