So I really find it annoying when you know I kind of accidentally long tap the home screen on an empty area and it enters the home screen you know wallpaper settings screen and that kind of is annoying because you know of course pinching will get it in there but again I don't even want that to happen I want to get into that settings through the settings icon is there a way I can prevent the long screen sorry the long press and the home screen I'm not talking about the Gemini and The voice commands and all that just press long press on your home screen or pinch on the home screen and you will know what I talk about. And I want to get rid of it.

Sorry but no they are no way that I know of to disable the long press to enter the homescreen settings.

You can have a lighter touch.  Even if you accidentally press too hard, it's not a big deal and half a second to return it to normal.  There is no way to prevent this from happening, as even if you lock the home screen, you can still bring up the options by long pressing.  I don't see a way to long press accidentally, as it only takes a gentle tap to open any icon.  Are you picking up your phone by holding the screen, rather than from the sides?  You can try turning on accidental touch protection and turning off touch sensitivity in the display settings to see if that helps.

That's annoying me for many years. Not sure if anyone else is having the same problem.

Put in a suggestion to change the long press timer to a longer setting to activate the home screen settings to more than a second. Open the Members app, then at the bottom click on "Support" and then "Send feedback" with the description. Who knows, maybe this will be implemented as a setting in the next UI version.

You can go to accessibility settings/interaction and dexterity and change the "touch and hold delay" time to a longer period, along with the aforementioned screen sensitivity and accidental touch protection adjustments.

It kind of works but the problem is I still get it like it's not like how do I say it's basically if I now do a double tap with a good duration between the two tabs like maybe two to three seconds between the two tabs it just gives me the settings screen again๐Ÿ˜ฎ

You shouldn't get settings on a double tap, it's long press.  There is another setting in accessibility for tap duration and to ignore repeated touches..  If this is happening taking the phone out of your pocket, you can also turn off double tap to wake screen and the screen won't react to touches while in your pocket, or when handling it to take it out.
