One ui 8.5 beta

I just got the s25 ultra by spectrum and after setting it up, i updated it and checked if I have the beta. I did not see the beta listed. One of my friends has the same phone and has the beta. How can I get it?

What is the full model name of your phone? Go to settings > about phone.

Unless it ends in U1, you won't be eligible for the beta.

Sorry, you're not eligible. The only carrier-locked (U) models eligible for the beta are from T-Mobile. If you're with any other carrier, you must have a factory unlocked (U1) model.

The funny thing is, I just switched from tmobile to spectrum today lol

Do you still have the SIM? It doesn't need to be active. You can insert it and see if you can still get into the beta.

Good luck! The beta might be full right now. But if they stick to the same schedule, round 3 may open up on Monday.

Update. I tried it but it says that it doesnt have service and to contact spectrum to unlock my phone. Its probably because I transfered my phone number over to spectrum and i used a esim instead of a physical sim by spectrum. So basically the tmobile Sim card is useless. Do you know when One ui 8.5 is coming out for the s25 ultra?

Sorry you couldn't get in. It was worth a shot. The S26 announcement is scheduled for Feb 25th, which means pre-orders will ship in March. The One UI 8.5 rollout will probably start around that time. The S25 series will be the first to get it. When it gets to you will depend on how quickly Spectrum sends it out.
