One UI 8 ruined the customization of Galaxy platform and Good lock

If you enjoyed the customization of the Galaxy platform and Goodlock, prepared to have it ruined by the new and "improved" UI update. I've had Android and Galaxy devices for years because of the customization. And now the engineers forget that important fact about it's customers everytime they sacrifice a customization feature for AI that people don't use.

The gallery widget can no longer have transparent backgrounds. No matter what option you choose you png with a transparent background gets a white one. Ruined my whole home screen.

Good Lock modules probably need to be updated. This happens with every new OS version and is to be expected. The GL dev team is different from the Samsung devs who work on One UI, but they work closely together. GL modules will be updated and the customization you want will eventually return.

People are so impatient. They have a choice, live with it or remove the widget until GL is updated if it ruins their esthetic.

The esthetic is the point though. There are NO other phones out there like Androids. Most phone features have extremely similar features. The esthetic and customization makes it truly mine.

As I said, live with it or remove it until Good Lock is updated.  You have not other choice at the moment.  Good Lock is often not updated until well after the release of the updates.

It's not GL. The widget is the native Samsung Gallery widget. It was an unnecessary change. So I'm going to complain until it's fixed or reverted back

You're just complaining to other users, not people who can actually do something about it. If you want to submit feedback to developers, here's how to do it:

GL allows for easy placement of widgets during customization, but the Gallery widget played such an important role. This is what my home screen used to look like. I'm in process of trying to find a work around

the work around is using stickers. and stickers dont accidentally trigger from the lock screen or open the photo viewer from the home screen. they are only forcing you to use the better option
