How can I get my screen to wake when receiving new notifications?

Is there a way that when a new notification comes through the phone screen wakes up? I'm sure older Samsung's used to do it and the settings could be changed in the wallpaper settings (notification icons could be selected and settings changed). Sorry if this has already been covered.

Cheers

Hi, yes, there is a way to ensure that you receive notifications even while the screen is off. First, go to Settings, tap on Notifications, then Notification Pop Up Style, and then ensure "Show even while screen is off" is turned on. I have attached screenshots to show how to get to these settings. Hope this helps!1739639292745.jpg1739639292761.jpg1739639292775.jpg

Thanks.  I had it set to detailed and the option for show in lock screen was not there. Is there a way to keep the message displayed in the lock screen and not just an icon?

Cheers

When you're in the "Notification Pop up style" settings, I believe you need to tap on "Detailed" instead of "Brief" for your notification style. šŸ˜ Photo attached again for reference. 1739640957645.jpg

Thanks for the reply.

When detailed is selected the options disappear.

Sorry, I may have originally misunderstood you. Here is where I found what I think you are looking for. šŸ˜Š

Tap on Settings, tap into Wallpaper and Style, tap on the image that shows your lock screen (on the left), tap on the notification icons, then tap on "Details" option at bottom right corner of the screen. Make sure you save this selection by tapping "Done" at the top right of the screen. You should be good now! I am attaching screenshots but have to save in separate posts because they only let me attach a maximum of 5. 1739643850689.jpg1739643850712.jpg1739644102276.jpg

Weird, I don't see the notification box on my lockscreen edit page.

Thanks Dunamai77

That's where it used to be, but it's not there on my S25. Not sure if it's been removed in one ui 7.

What software is on your phone?

Cheers

Oh, you're probably right about it being moved then. šŸ˜¬ I have a Fold 6 and still running on One UI 6.1 because they have been so slow with the OneUI 7 rollout. Sorry, I wish I could help more! Maybe someone here running OneUI7 can give some tips?
