Black background on notifications

I just noticed the last few days, my notifications are black background. I googled the causes, and I have made sure all settings are correct. Any ideas why this is happening. Thx

Couple questions:
When you say all your notifications are on a black background is it black background and white letters?

Are you using a theme?
Are you using dark or light setting for the phone?
Is it all apps or certain ones?

Hopefully the questions will help get you to the solution on it's own but it will give us more information to try and help

*Also did you restart your phone?
