Does anyone know what's happening here? It seems to happen with iPhones and attachments not being available sometimes. For example, my girlfriend tried to send me a screenshot of her shopping list and it wouldn't come through. Just an arrow that says download, but it never does.

 ***Solved***

Tip from another member was to reset my mobile network settings and that worked!

Have you tried resetting mobile network settings? It's under settings, general management, reset.

Deactivate iMessage:

If the sender is switching from an iPhone, they may need to deactivate iMessage to ensure messages are sent as SMS/MMS.

4. Google Messages specific settings:

RCS Chats: In Google Messages settings, make sure RCS chats are enabled and configured correctly. Sometimes, RCS can interfere with MMS when communicating with iPhones.

Auto-download MMS: Ensure the "Auto-download MMS" setting is enabled in Google Messages settings.

Update Google Messages: Ensure you have the latest version of the Google Messages app.

She's using iPhone. I noticed it happens occasionally with people who use iPhones. My app is updated, RCS on , settings configured correctly. I guess it could be the format of the Screenshot not working correctly because it may not be compatible. Oh well
