I have an S25 Ultra. When my wife texts me, I do not get a notification sound when I get a text from her but I get a notification sound when someone else sends me a text. Does this happen to anyone else?
Hello BigRick1313, welcome to the Samsung Community! I understand your concerns about your device not sending text message notification sound from your wife's contact. What messaging app are you using?
Clear the cache in your messaging app and then check to verify that you don't have her contact set to silent: Conversation, Contact name, Notifications, check to make sure it is not silent
You can try selecting a specific notification sound for her contact: click on the conversation, click the menu (3 dots in corner), tap details, Notifications, Sound and select a sound that you like
Delete her contact and re add
Reset your mobile network settings: Settings, General Management, Reset mobile network settings and review the information before tapping reset to confirm
