New S25 Ultra - Notifications not working

Howdy!

Received my new S25 Ultra yesterday, set it up via SmartSwitch. Everything transferred correctly but none of my notifications are working. 

Zero.

I have gone though forum postings that other people have posted looking for solutions and most of those has been DND or a routine turned on blocking notifications. 

Things I've checked:

• Do Not Disturb is TURNED OFF.
• No Modes or Routines are running (there aren't any setup).
• Sound is on.
• Vibrate is on.
• No icons or app badges show up on the top.
• The apps that I am testing with I have confirmed that notifications are turned on.
• All the options are selected for the notification options (Lock Screen, App icon badge, Notification pop-up).
• This happens if the phone is sleeping or awake.
• My old phone is still using Wi-Fi and notifications work fine on that one (other than messages and phone cause that's tied to the SIM). Turning off the old phone and waiting a few minutes and trying on the new phone, same thing happens.
• If I open the offending app, I can see the unread messages.

Other than wiping the phone, skipping the SmartSwitch and starting from scratch, I am not sure how to move forward.

This happens to me almost every time I use Smart Switch. While the new device carries over credentials and settings, notifications often do not work and if they do, all apps use the default sound. I usually can solve by clearing data for each app and setting it up again. This has worked also when Google restores your apps after a reset.

Same problem here, coming from the S23U. Several apps won't even let me set up push notifications. E.g. if I try to set up push notifications from the Reolink app for my cameras, it tells me "Loading failed. Click to try again".

Exactly the same with my reolink app. Have you found any solution?

I transferred from a Note10+ to the S25 Ultra Unlocked and have the same issue. I just compared screen for screen with my old phone. Same settings and apps, only my old phone is getting most notifications. I get a few but nowhere near what I should.

Biggest offenders are YouTube, Bleacher Report, X and Discord so far.

I have the same issue on my brand new Galaxy s25.
I also transfered data from my s23 using smart switch. Most apps seem to be working, but some important apps to me, (like my banking app), are not receiving any push notifications. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, doesn't help. Happens on wifi and mobile data.

Any workarounds?

Same issue here (Galaxy S25 Ultra).

I didn't use Smart Switch this time. What I transferred was the app data from Samsung Cloud from my S24+.

Most of the time, notifications only fire after I pick up the phone and unlock it.

i have the same problem, gmail and wyze notifications arent working on s25, tried system reset etc, clear data, turning them on and off

I have a few different gmails in my phone for work and personal etc, but I only get notifications from one email address and not the others. Anyone else have this issue? Using Gmail widget.

I have issues with 90% of my notifications on this phone

Gmail has had issues with notifications for years and nobody has ever figured it out. I gave up a long time ago and use Outlook for my Gmail accounts. Have never had an issue receiving notifications with it.
