New battery icon is absolutely awful - One UI 7 / April patch update

New battery icon is way too big / fat in the latest beta release. Please change it back asap.

Update: if beta users complained that previous icon was too small to read how about giving us an option to choose or make the actual pill smaller a bit?

Absolutely!! And how about that huge  Location icon!!! They're R&D department needs to realize that the mass majority of their users don't want to be bothered by signing up for all the Samsung programs required to give they're input on using their products. Beta programs are only good for floor testing, they need to get out there and physically ask people. Get outta the **bleep** office and get off the AI assisted computer, and visit shopping centers, phone stores, gas stations, etc. That's where you get the REAL data for wether or not your software is any good.

Put a choice in the settings, and allow users to choose which they prefer! Example, like the clock setting!

Samsung's board won't let me say what I'd like to say about their battery indicator. I'm outta here! And looking elsewhere for phone tech.

It is really hard to read the number. It certainly does not respect the accessibility rules for the visually impaired.

Many of you have the time shown on the same side as the battery icon, I don't know if it's an option you can change but my time is on the opposite side and I like this over OneUI6. If you don't like something leave those of us who do

They used the QuickStar module of Samsung's Good Lock to put the time on the right side of the screen.

Yes I also noticed it It is true that the new icon for battery looks bulkier It would be smart to have a choice of icon thickness or size Samsung should take this feedback very seriously Lets wait and see what Samsung updates in the next beta

Yup i agree, let me have a choice how i want it to look. I hate the new Version. It's like having a new phone and I always avoid that too!

There are several changes in oneui7 that were just **bleep**. The battery indicator is one, changes to the app drawer were another, though luckily that one can be reverted. Just wish i could change the battery indicator back to how it was. I can barely see the current one, as it's white on black which i've always found harder to read. This will be the last samsung phone i own.
