I installed company portal on my new S25 Ultra and signed using my work credentials and then I press Begin to create a Work Profile. It does something for 3-5 seconds and gives me an error "Can't add Work Profile'.
I checked with my company's IT Admin and there are no policy restrictions and they asked me to try on other devices.
I tried it then on my Note 20 Ultra and S24 Ultra and it worked fine. Seems like there is an issue with S25 software compatibility or something.
I called Samsung Care and they blindly shirked off their hands and told me to contact my IT Department ๐ Pretty useless. If there is no solution I might have to return the phone since I can't have a phone without my work email and apps.
having this issue in the US on the S25 Edge. Every microsoft app will work except outlook which tells me it can't register the account. Funny thing is that I still get notifications for emails I can't read...
You need to give Company Portal Admin App permissions to create a Work profile on your device.
Settings > Security and privacy
More security settings
Device admin apps
Turn on Company portal
Close settings and restart your phone, then you'll be able to create a work profile.
If you get this error after creating the work profile, you need your IT staff to authorize your device in the Intune Portal, then you should be able to finish the setup.
I'm also facing the same issue. Recently bought S25 on June 29 here in the Philippines. I don't have any issues logging in to company portal before in my S23.
