Mirroring your phone to the TV means you will see your exact phone screen on the TV. If you're watching a video, change it to full screen on the phone and that's what you'll see on the TV.

You can download the NavStar module in Good Lock and then turn on show/hide navigation bar. You will then be able to hide the navigation bar when you don't want t to show, but still have it accessible to utilize.
