Native call recorder option restricted by state?

I had the beta and there was a call recorder feature that I loved. Now I got my s25 ultra and cannot find the option. Did they remove it?

Is your phone locked or unlocked? If locked, the carrier may have disabled it. BTW, the reason the Samsung rep told you it's not available in the U.S. is because phones running OneUI6.1 or lower do not have it in the US, but do in other countries. Maybe the rep hasn't had, or was asleep during training for OneUi7.

If you go to phone settings and search for record calls does it show up like this under the phone app?

See, YOU'RE not required to, the phone automatically will lol its gonna just announce "this call is being recorded" to the other person after a 3 second countdown

Because states vary in their laws over recording conversations and the phone does not know where you are or where the person on the other end is and what laws apply on either side of the call, call recording must be announced.  If you want to secretly record a conversation (for whatever reason), just put the phone on speaker and turn on your sound recorder. The majority of people record conversations for the sake of review and clarity.
