S25 Ultra. Esim was activated and primary. I did insert the Sim card, but it is not active. Each time I send or receive a SMS, a message appears at the bottom stating it could not send messages at this time...I'm unable to read the entire message and cannot click on it. But, my messages do send and I do receive them. What's causing this error?

MMS/SMS are carrier features. Please contact your carrier for assistance regarding this issue.

Take the SIM card out, reboot the phone, and it should be fine. I recommend inserting a SIM card only if you are using an active one; otherwise, you will continue to get this notification as it is attempting to send messages through both SIMs. Also, of course, make sure your Google Messages app is updated.

Samsung has switched to Google Messages. They no longer include Samsung Messages on their new devices like 25 ultra; you can still download it from the app store, however, it will lack features and support. I strongly recommend switching to Google Messages and signing up for encrypted text messaging. Hopefully, this will stop any issues.

I used Samsung messaging for years. I think Samsung and Google just came together and decided Google had the better service but A real reason the switch is RCS chat availability.

All iPhones should have received their update by now. They were all forced to the RCS standard, and the problem shouldn't happen anymore. If it is, I'm not sure what's going on. You might try a factory settings reset on your device; there might be a setting causing the issue.1740715555391.jpg
