Messages not deleting out of my Visual voicemail mailbox?

How is it that my messages never get deleted in my visual voicemail. I try deleting them everyday and they are still there. The same two messages

Voicemail is always a carrier issue. You'll have to talk to them.

But also try clearing cache for the visual voicemail app.

I think there are referring to the baked in voicemail app. It's a mess!

Is that a somewhat recent addition? I don't have a voicemail app on my 23U.

It has been on every Samsung phone I have ever had since visual voicemail has been introduced.

Interesting. I don't recall ever having one, going back every model line to the Note 10+.

I never had it. I had to download my carrier's app.

No. Factory unlocked.  I believe someone on here once told me (I think it was @LongHiker ) that the baked in VVM app only appeared on phones where carriers did not have their own vvm app, but I never saw it on any of my Samsung phones, even when my carrier did not have its own app.  it did not appear on my S10 lite, even when I was with AT&T, which did not have its own app.  It never even appeared in the Galaxy store for me to download.
