So, do you have an answer for the OP?  I see none.

Lol @ "Google addicts"

You do realize Android is a Google product and Samsung devices can't function properly without Google services

It could be any number of reasons from lack of basic maintenance (cache cleaning), to carrier transmission issues.  Messaging is always a carrier issue.  If your delayed messages are from iPhone users, it could be because you are not using Google messages with RCS turned on.  Even if Samsung's messaging app was working 100% *and* you have the version of Samsung messages with RCS, it is a) only marginally compatible with iPhone's RCS, b) it has a less server capacity than Google, c) only 2 carriers support it.

That's the phone doing that. ANY notification you get when your phone is off, just stays pending until you go online. There is no fixing it.

I believe we all know that, however, the OPs lament was that these messages didn't show up in real time when the phone was on (one can tell by the time stamp).  He is also not stating his phone was off for any period of time, but that this happened after a restart.

I mean @Ghost518, who is the original poster - they would show as "writer" in the app after their user name.
