Magsafe magnet on Samsung phones

I would love to see a magnet in our samsung phone... I love how premium our phones are I rather not use a phone case to get that feature

I doubt we'll see anything happen with integrated magnets for any Android OEM until/unless Google mandates it.

It won't happen. The wireless charging consortium (WCC) created Qi2 magnetic wireless charging, which is literally magsafe as Apple donated the specifications to the WCC. For a period of time, they had one version of Qi2, but they were pressured by Samsung, Google and other oems to create the Qi2 "Ready" standard. The Qi2 "Ready" is non-magnetic wireless charging with official magnetic cases for full Qi2 support, and it exists entirely because samsung, google, etc do not want to engineer magnets into their phones but still want advertise Qi2 support.

Honestly, just buy a pack of metal rings from Amazon, line it up correctly and then glue it on. I have one on my Flip6, love it.

While magnetic cases won't likely harm you or your phone they can cause signal interruption and compass disruption, so making them mandatory may be problematic for some users that Samsung may be hesitant to adopt them.

Seeing as how this feature would be used by such a low percentage of users, they probably think of it in the same category as Bluetooth for the S Pen, we all saw what happened there...  They likely see it as no different, and this feature can be safely added with an appropriate case so there is no reason for them to design this.  I have a Torras case with a mag-safe ring on it that has magnet nullifiers on the phone side so that it does not interfere with the S Pen, so I love it, and would recommend it, assuming you are willing to put your device into a case.
