While Google MAPS is in use, if you receive a call, the call takes over the screen. After time on the call, the screen times out and goes black. MAPS and the call are active but you have to enter your code or fingerprint to reactive the screen. You have to slide down to get back to MAPS. Then, it times out again.
MAPS should remain as the dominant App and not be over ridden. While driving in CA it is illegal to touch the phone while driving.
