“On One UI, lock-screen notifications stay visible even after the device is unlocked. I want an option that will automatically clear the lock-screen notifications when the phone is unlocked, while keeping them in the notification shade. This used to be possible in older devices/lock screen styles. Please add this option in future One UI updates.”

The notifications setting is no longer available and notistar or good lock are no help either.

Once you unlock the phone, anything showing on the lock screen should no longer be visible, but will still be  in the notification area.  If you do not dismiss the notifications from the notification area, they will re-appear on the lock screen once the screen locks again.

Correct. But that's what I don't want. I want it to clear up from the lock screen upon unlocking and remain in the notification area

That's crazy 😭 I just switched from my iPhone 17 and that's the one thing driving me nuts! For the amount of customization Samsung has, it's crazy that this isn't customizable anymore.

I don't know why one would keep them in one place and not the other.  I either read and dismiss, or dismiss if everything I need to read fits in the bubble.  If I need to retain a notification to be reminded to act later, I wouldn't mind them both places, but I also have NotiStar for backup.

For me it works the other way around. Sometimes I need to go to my my phone but can't address the notifications on the lock screen. But if I lock and they remain on the lock screen they distract me cause I don't know what's new or important that needs to be addressed 😭

Well, you could try using NotiStar.  Even though if you dismiss notifications from the  lock screen and it dismisses them from the notification area, all your notifications are saved for the time period you choose until auto-deletion or until you manually delete them.  You can revisit your notifications when you have time to deal with them or at the end of the day.  You can also just choose to have icons only on the lock screen or no lock screen notifications at all.  This will ensure that the notifications you receive will still remain in your notification area and, again, you can view Notistar notifications from the lock screen, by swiping up on the control icon (otherwise they are hidden).

I'd just remove them from the lockscreen and go for the extra 1.5 seconds to open the phone to look.,then leave it or delete it.
