So I was trying to connect it to my laptop and when I toggled it on it pooped up a message saying their is a temporary network problem so I'm wondering if it's just me or everyone who has the same phone is having the same issue

"Temporary network problem" means it's a carrier issue. Either wait it out or contact your mobile provider.
