Galaxy S25I read an article about Samsung Messages maybe coming back and having some features like RCS. So I downloaded and installed it from Samsung Galaxy Store and made it default messaging app. Didn't look like it had that stuff. The article was talking about it maybe coming, but not out yet.
So I uninstalled it. But I can't seem to get RCS back. RCS is turned on, but when I go to a message that already exists that I know I did RCS on, it doesn't go into RCS mode. And in the settings somewhere I saw "end-to-encryption" is "off". I wanted to uninstall and reinstall Google Messages, but that wasn't apparently an option. Tried rebooting after turn on RCS mode, but it didn't make any difference.
The RCS Chat on option showed my phone number and it didn't try to verify it.
What the heck did I break and how do I get it back?

Galaxy S25It came back on its own. I suppose there was some change of command that took ATT a bit. All seems working now.
