Huge eSIM Connectivity Issue (One UI 8 Update)

So I have the unlocked S25+, and I just updated to One UI 8 this morning. Update downloaded and installed pretty fast but now ... there is absolutely no way for my SIM to connect. I've reactivated from Visible multiple times (reinstalling the eSIM). The phone will glitch and alternate between having "No SIM" to "Emergency Calls Only". I've went on Safe Mode, cleared cache partition, reset network settings, started my SIM profiles afresh, and of course, this happened RIGHT AFTER One UI 8 installed. Pls help because this should NOT be happening right now! It could be Verizon or Visible hasn't adjusted the update yet, but that would've only made sense if the update came out for me right when it came out more than a week ago.

I believe it must be something wrong with the e-sim. If you had a physical sim, you could request a new SIM from visible. But with an esim, I don't know if it's that straightforward. I see you reinstalled/reactivated, but is that the same as getting a new, fresh esim? Hopefully someone with more knowledge about this than I have could chime in?

IIRC correctly, Visible has no direct live phone customer support, just their website tools and live chat support for their customers. Try them there and if they cannot help then I would call Samsung Support on this. 1 (800) 726-7864. Perhaps they can authorize UbkreakiFix to look at the device and possibly fix it (if one is close to you).

 

In the meantime, backup all of your settings, photos etc, as it is likely the device will have to be reset back to factory settings to start over if it cannot be resolved otherwise.

Well I did every step possible for troubleshooting, and it seems the update messed my modem, so the firmware will have to be reflashed to the device

Hey all, i installed the latest update lastnight and in the morning i noticed i have no registered network when I try to call, and up in the corner i have emergency calls only!

i restarted my phone, played with aeroplane mode and turning data on and off. But still no luck with getting my phone back to normal

Samsung F this one up very bad.   Lost total faith in Samsung.   I am going for Xiaomi.

Did you ever get this fixed? Having the same issue but with an A53.
