Galaxy S25Keep your phone away from them and change your phone's PIN/Password. Turn off any hotspot and change the password/hotspot name so they can't find it if it is on. If you have satellite, you must have T-Mobile, although it is my understanding that satellite access only turns on when there is no other connection available, and it can't be used remotely. If you don't mean an actual satellite connection but only that you allowed them to use your hotspot and mobile data and your phone is the satellite for that, that's just asking for trouble. Nothing wrong with people connecting when you allow them to, but allowing them to turn on the hotspot without your consent is just wrong. if you want them out of your phone, you have to lock down your phone and access to it. Frankly, although, I know it theoretically can be done, I don't see how anyone can get into your phone itself just by connecting to the hotspot - but, then, I don't have a larcenous mind. Kind of ungrateful of them to be rooting around your phone when you were generous enough to grant access - and if you did not grant access, that's even worse - you need to separate yourself from your those people, even if they are "friends" and family. Or are you talking about hackers, not people you know? If you have a plan with satellite access and don't really need it because you aren't usually out in the middle of nowhere with no connectivity, you can ask your carrier to turn off the feature, or if there is a way to disable it at will.
Also, get yourself a VPN and keep it turned on at all times.

Galaxy S25A satellite or an artificial satellite is an object, typically a spacecraft, placed into orbit around a celestial body.
If they're hijacking your data, please get in touch with your carrier; the guys you pay for a 'secure' data connection.

Galaxy S25Sat phone plans are super expensive and require a large antenna.

Who knew?
Regardless, if you're having issues with your phone you should contact your carrier as they are responsible for the security of their network.
