Same spec on pixel pro and pixel pro XL
iPhone pro and iPhone pro Max

Why Samsung doesn't
Not everybody wants a big cellphone, but everyone wants to get the best spec on smaller cellphone too.

I bought the ultra but I considering to switch to other brands because of the size.

Anyone else like me?

I would love to see Samsung take a similar approach, having two different sized phones with the same top-of-line spec. Why they haven't yet is a mystery. It's a strategy that obviously pays off.

I think OP wants better specs on the compact model. Google and Apple both offer Pro models that are comparable in size to the base model.

I'm happy with the current size. I don't want a smaller phone.

Top-tier specs in a compact model NEEDS to happen.

I have a love/hate relationship with my large phone.

There are lots of times I really enjoy the screen real estate, and there are times I think I'd like to have even more from something like a Fold.

Then there are times when it feels heavy, uncomfortable to hold, and frankly too big.

I would love it if the rumored S26 Pro actually tries to compete with its big brothers, but we shall see.

it won't happen, smaller form factor mean smaller battery size, less feature because it's small

the reason Samsung choose thinner phone because Samsung can put top-tier feature on such thin form but the wide of S25 Edge is similar like S25+, so only battery getting reduced but other premium feature can be kept

tbh i also dreaming Galaxy A5 2017 with 2026 specification, A5 2017 has 5,2" screen (let it be), increase the battery to 4000 mAh (original is 3000 mAh), add triple rear camera one of them is 200 MP, and flagship chip << but i know it won't happen

Not necessarily, depends on the battery tech. 6K+mAh Si/C batteries in 6.3" phones currently exist from other manufacturers.

There are reasons Sammy is still using Li/ion (stability, longevity, etc,) but smaller form factor with substantial battery life is definitely possible.
