Removing my ability to keep my phone the way I like it, the way I have had it since the first note phone came out, makes me want to throw my brand loyalty out the window. Allow me to decide if I want to keep icons that I've been using for almost 20 years. More steps doesn't make life better, it wast time and is frustrating.
This decision is asinine. Changing icon locations and app colors/shapes is unproductive. Having to do extra steps for Bluetooth and alarm was a ridiculous decision. I don't have free time to hunt down someone's whimsical changes. I use the calculator 3-4 times a week and I'm still not seeing it because some genius changed to app icon.
My ex wife would rearrange the fridge every few months and I'd have to stand there and search for something that used to reliably be in the same spot.
And I don't want to swipe down to see if my Bluetooth is connected. Just show in the status bar if my headphones/earphones are connected; Samsung can leave the icon out of the status bar when they are NOT connected, if it so desires. I often have my earphones in and out of my ears, and I turn them on and off, and often need to check as (a) I don't hear message notifications if I'm not wearing them but have left them on, and (b) I don't want to start my audio and disturb others by having Bluetooth accidentally turned off. Make it easy to see. In fact, Samsung should add to the Lock Screen an icon showing whether a Bluetooth device is connected.
I agree!!! At least allow me to change things back to the way I had it and have been using it for years. I prefer the look of the icons I had before... but now I have to pay for them in the themes app?? ๐ง Why? No one told you to change my stuff around.
Now there's also a search bar in my apps menu that I can't get rid of.
The calculator also automatically opens with a zero there. Why?!
I have my phone set in the dark theme, but when I have to put my password in on the lock screen... it's bright white. WHY?!??
Super annoying and BLINDING when it's night time and I don't have any lights on in my room.
