I love all the Samsungs (TVs, cells) I've purchased to date, but going from an A54 to a S25 cell has made me dizzy. I used to love TROUBLESHOOTING, but tech is advancing so fast that I can't keep up. No! I won't ask Samsung to slow down; what I need to do is stop my aging process so I don't overexhaust!

#1. Right now I am frustrated because Samsung Gallery was eliminated and now Google Photos has taken its place. I want Gallery back and don't know how to make this happen.

#2. As well, my CALENDAR replaced my Samsung ACCOUNT w/ an email I DELETED years ago. How'd that happen? And no one can get the ACCOUNT to go back to the email I've been using up to recently. Help!

#3. My S25, which should be breezy-easy, is not letting downloaded apps do their intended jobs, ie SafeAuthPremium, TotalAdBlock, and Samsung Authenticator. What is this old lady to do?

If anyone has any suggestions, I'd surely appreciate. 🤗 My last resort is to ask Samsung Remote to step in. Is there a cost for this? 🤔

My deepest THANK YOU to anyone who accepts the above challenges. 💞

@Gem99iam Hi, sorry that you are so frustrated.

Samsung Gallery, now named Gallery is still part of the S25 and other Samsung devices.

If you swipe up on the home screen to open the the Apps screen, you should be able to find Gallery. You can long press on the Gallery app and select "Add to Home" to add it back to your home screen.

None of the apps that you mention, SafeAuthPremium, TotalAdBlock, and Samsung Authenticator are on my S25. BTW, the Samsung Authenticator app is NOT a Samsung app. The developer is in Pakistan and uses a gmail.com account for support.

Total Ad Block is an add-on in Samsung Internet.

Open Samsung Internet and select more options menu (burger stack near address bar) then choose add-ons, then ad blockers. There will be a list to choose from including Total Ad Block

Trusting any corporation to "allow" any ad blocker or any other add-on that gives people some kind of comfort to their privacy, is not going to honestly allow this extension to block ads.

For example, try finding uBlock Origin in Samsung Internet's extension offerings and will not be allowed, jsut like Google did that with Chrome. MS Edge is moving towards m Manifest V3 (like Google and Samsung have) that as every update it pushes out disables uBlock currently, but it can be re-enabled.

Thanks, I guess. I wasn't seeking any "explanation" about ad blockers on any OS. I do always appreciate unsolicited "advice" on topics I was not asking about, while providing someone else possibly helpful information regarding something they did ask about. Thanks!
