I have a Galaxy S25+ and when I use the screensaver clock function the entire screen has a slight glow that will illuimnate a room. I use it as my alarm clock on an upright wireless charger at night and appreciate the clock function.

I had previously a S10+ and used the exact same feature except the screen did not glow at all and was completely void/dark except for the floating clock screensaver.

The S25+ does occasionally stop the screen glow when it's on my car charger, but only after it's been charging for a while. Someone suggested its a function of auto brightness, but I tried adjusting that funtion with no results in fixing the glow.

Does anyone know how to turn off the screenglow and just have the screensaver clock active? The glow, although not tremendously bright, does affect the darkness of the room compared to my S10+. I've tried adjusting all settings that I think would possibly change it, but nothing has worked yet. I've googled the issue and it seems it may just be part of the screensaver function as it is....but as I said earlier, my S10+ never had this problem.

Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

Try to remember that certain features will change from model to model so an S10+ feature might be slightly different on an s25+

The S24 and S25 series phones have the ability to show the lock screen wallpaper on the Always On Display. Is it possible to turn this feature off and does that fix the problem? (My own phone is an S23+, so I can't just look on my own phone to see how to fix this.)

Where did you even find the option to have the clock glow?
