Galaxy S25+ Front Camera Processing Is a Major Downgrade โ€“ Unusable for Content

I upgraded from the Galaxy S22 to the S25+, and the front camera is noticeably worse.
The selfie camera applies heavy processing that dulls skin tone, removes natural glow, and makes photos look flat compared to the S22. This is not a settings issue โ€” Iโ€™ve tested Natural/Vivid, HDR, Camera Assistant, and multiple lighting conditions.
The live preview looks fine, but once the photo processes, it looks worse. For a flagship phone, this is unacceptable โ€” especially for people who create content and rely on the front camera.
Iโ€™m seeing many other users report the same issue, so this appears to be a software/processing problem, not a defective unit.
Everything else about the phone is great, but if this isnโ€™t fixed via an update, I may return it solely because of the front camera.
Samsung seriously needs to address this.

Only thing I can think off the top of my head is to try the different Intelligent optimization options under settings to see if the Minimum or Medium Quality optimization works better.

Good luck!

Are you photographing under dull or yellow light? Are you using a screen protector? If not, another thing to try is to clean the area of the lens well to see if that could be causing an issue. Hope you figure it out.
