Fast wireless charging not working on Galaxy s25 ultra

I have a two compatible 15W wireless chargers and when I connect the phone it shows that's it's "fast charging" but immediately switches to "charging", which is incredibly slow. This happened Galaxy s20 plus using a regular USB-C charger after updating to a new software version and it was never fixed by Samsung. Really frustrating since I just bought two new wireless chargers for this reason. Fast wireless charging is enabled. I know 15W charging speeds are painfully slow but it's obviously not working correctly. 3 hours until the battery is fully charged! Does anyone have a fix or know if Samsung has promised to address this issue?

It might switch to charging that is normal. When on the charger open the batter page, it will say fast wireless charging.

BTW, the phone is Qi 2, 15W, Qi is 7.5 watts, Qi 2.2 is 25 watts. The Ultra is not Qi 2.2.

Apologies. I meant the wireless charger is a 15W. I have the fast charging enabled and I did double check while it was on the wireless charger.

Yikes, you're not gonna get anywhere fast with 15w. It's like watching paint dry. I've been wanting a wireless charger, but going from my 45w and 65w is a no-go. 15w on ultra would take forever. 0 - 50% on 45w super fast from Samsung is like, 20 to 25 minutes. 15w wireless is 45 to 60 minutes 😳 Who has that kinda time?! Hopefully it works for you though!

Does Samsung offer any phones capable of 45W wireless charging?

Unfortunately not wireless. Just the wired. Which is why I've not switched to wireless because they haven't upgraded it. Most phones are 10w to 15w. The ultras and the folds are the only Samsungs that can truly utilize the high 45w super fast charging and have it in the settings.

I have a Samsung dual wireless charging pad connected to a Samsung 45W charger and it charges my S24 Ultra from ~38% to 100% in about 35 minutes. Every night.

What brand and model is the charger? This issue feels like a software problem because of the way it changes quickly during the charging session. I guess it could be a thermal problem but the phone did not feel very hot and charging wirelessly will produce heat on all devices.

If im understanding correctly if you use wired or wireless you still get slow charging? And it goes from fast to regular even though its selected? As other user stated they use a Samsung wireless charger. Which makes a difference, i used to buy aftermarket chargers and never again. I only use Samsung super fast cord and blocks. That are oem. ( Original) Made by Samsung. You'll notice all the difference in charging. You're phone probably isn't getting good connection ive had after market chargers not even want to charge my phone.

The issue is only happening during wireless charging. When I connect a 15W wireless charger it shows "fast wireless charging" on a notification bar and immediately switches to "charging", which doubles or triples the expected charge time.
