Does anyone have a work around for this?... Pretty sure the backspace 2 digit method is patched, its not working on my S25, Android 16, Sep Patch...

I know its something minor lol but it be the little things for me... Just upgraded from a S10+ and its a few things that I miss lol ๐Ÿ˜‚

I tried. It's futile. I loved the 4 digits but you have to use 6 so you don'thave to push ok. I could press the 4 in .5 seconds so I was annoyed.

What I did was add two of the same number right beside the 4th number in your original code. Like if you code was 3739 you'd put 373900. In the beginning, there were sometimes I put only 4 and stood there while it didn't open ๐Ÿ˜‚, but you really do get used to it! Hope that helps!

I didn't know they had gone to a 6 digit pin. I'm still using 4 on my old phone.

They've gone to 6 numbers. Took me a minute to figure it out but, ya, that's what they did.

So, it's not inconvenient for you to backspace twice to avoid hitting "ok", but tapping once to hit the extra character is too much? Doesn't make sense. Just tap "ok" and pretend it's part of your pin, or just choose a six digit pin

Lmao... You haven't fully comprehended the issue... Id only have to do that once vs hitting ok possibly 150 to 200 times a day... And I just came from a S10+ so it was something I was use to... You act like I would constantly have to hit the backspace everytime... I literally don't get your point lol... You just wanted to be a part of something mhmm... ๐Ÿ˜Œ

I use an 8 character password, not a pin. I use fingerprint unlock and extended unlock, and a routine to keep my phone unlocked under certain conditions, so I do not have to enter it 100 times a day. If you want to use a 4 digit pin, go ahead, but it becomes 5 with the ok. Use extend unlock, or use a biometric in addition to a pin, then you will only have to tap 5 times every 72 hours or after a restart.

Also, if you don't like the fact that you have to tap OK, send feedback via the feedback link.

Their talking about a workaround where only 6 digit pins enter automatically, but if you set a new pin and type 6 digits, backspace 2, and confirm save the 4 digit pin it would also enter without hitting ok

That workaround no longer works. It's either 6 digits or 4 plus ok.
