Do Not Disturb Allowing All Texts Through

Hi everyone. I'm having an issue with sleep mode / do not disturb. I have it listed so it only allows favorited contacts to call or message me while in this mode. Yet every single text message I get is able to make my phone vibrate. I work freelance and and sometimes get clients trying to reach out to me while I'm still asleep.

I tried looking at all the settings, but nothing I do fixes the problem. Please let me know if any of you have solutions. Thanks.

I absolutely think that mode is for driving and not sleeping. I generally turn notifications off by turning off sound. I don't care who it is texting me. Make sure vibration is off too turn phone down.

In sleep mode, do you have it configured to enable DND specifically?

My sleep mode does not by default enable DND.
