Buying an almost $300 Samsung extended warranty used to be a good thing . If something went wrong with your phone even in the first year , they would mail you out a new phone which would arrive within a day . My USBC port stopped working after 10 months (not good quality for a phone that costs $1500).and so I went online to the warranty page and discovered that I could not use the normal warranty procedures to get another phone . Because my phone is still under the first 10 months of warranty , I have to call in to the service center which takes forever (or use the text message service which is even worse!) in order to get service for my phone . I am then told that I have to drive to a service center to have my phone repaired or possibly replaced. Not a big deal except when you're not very mobile). Repairs could take up to 7 days I am told! . Now had I bought my phone through Samsung but gone to T-Mobile for my warranty , they would STILL warranty the phone for the same amount of money or less and immediately mail or replace my phone . I see no reason whatsoever to ever purchase a Samsung warranty again . Calling into the service center and waiting and waiting was a major headache , the text message service was even worse ( in 10 minutes they only sent me three replies ). I went online to see if any others had complained of Samsung's new Warranties and found on Reddit a trail of complaints for the Samsung Service Center longer than my arm!!! . Such a shame to see such a good company go so far downhill . And for what? Saving a few pennies? Go to T-Mobile or Verizon or AT&T to purchase and Warranty your phones!!!

Galaxy S25If you are talking about Samsung Care +, there is always a deductible. I went to an authorized Samsung service center and had my port replaced the same day. It was $99.
As long as I have had Samsung phones and have had to have them repaired, never was I offered a loaner device. This is why it is advisable to have a backup device.
