Corresponding App Doesn't Open When Tapping On Notifications

Normally, when I'm in an unrelated app and I get a text message, a notification will pop up. If I want to go into the messaging app I just tap the notification. This used to work with any app that gave me a notification.

Now when a notification pops up, I tap it and nothing happens. I have to manually open the corresponding app up to see it.

I'm pretty sure it's a setting but I can't find it! I went in and changed a few settings and I remember seeing this. Not sure though if it's in the normal OneUI setting or in Good Lock.

Does anyone know where this setting is located? I'm over here pulling my hair out going through the settings and not finding it. You'd think it would be right in the 'notifocation' area since it deals with notifications.

Could you have possibly turned on double tap to open in edge lighting +?

If not, try toggling between detailed and brief notifications to see if functionality is restored.

If this doesn't work, you may try clearing cache for the specific apps that are not opening, or clearing device cache via recovery mode.1762443558175.jpg

Thank you so much! That was it! I had the double-tap setting on. Man, that was stressful. 😆

I appreciate you.
